The sixty-day period established by the 17 June memorandum ends without extension. No agreement is in force between the United States and Iran thereafter.

Why it mattersAutomatic expiry rather than termination, and six weeks after the arrangement had already been declared over. From this date the module's account of the war carries no operative agreement of any kind.
