In brief

The logistics inspectorate of the Polish Armed Forces, published on the armed forces’ portal beside the General Staff and the two commands. The ministry’s 2018 reform pages describe it as the body responsible for military logistics and place its chief under the Chief of the General Staff. It is the Polish body nearest in function to the host-nation support role this module treats as reinforcement infrastructure, and it holds no location edge.

Broad area of activity
Logistic support to the armed forces on Polish territory, the ground across which allied reinforcement of the Baltic states moves.
Notable history
The ministry’s undated English page for the General Command lists the Inspectorate for Armed Forces Support among that command’s subordinate bodies, which was the 2014 arrangement. The ministry’s 2018 reform pages record that from 23 December 2018 the chief of the inspectorate answered instead to the Chief of the General Staff, alongside the General and Operational Commanders, and name improving military logistics as one of the reform’s stated purposes.
Strengths
Position in the chain: after 2018 the logistics body reports to the same officer as the two commands, which is the arrangement the ministry says it wanted for single responsibility. For this module its importance is host-nation support — Poland is the corridor for every land reinforcement of the Baltic states, and the inspectorate is the national logistics organisation on that corridor.
Limitations
No Polish page read publishes its internal structure, its regional bases or its formation date, and its own portal page was unreadable to this pass. The link between this inspectorate and NATO host-nation support arrangements is functional inference from its published role, not a relationship any source states, and no edge is authored for it.
