Reviewed, and no material change identified. The nine standing files were each asked separately and none moved: the JNIM fuel blockade and the escorted-convoy arrangement continued on the terms recorded since June, no verified change in state reach or corridor status was identified in any of the three countries, the confederal parliament that met in Niamey until 29 August produced no further institutional step, and no response was recorded to either of the documented Africa Corps civilian-harm cases. This is a quiet review rather than a quiet region: the blockade is a continuing condition, and continuing is what it did. Two of the three country lenses rest this week on an absence of identified reporting rather than on positive confirmation, and the brief says so rather than implying coverage it does not have.

Standing watch items reviewed — no material change identified

Mali — fuel blockade and escorted supply to Bamako — Continued, on unchanged terms. No new blockade action, change in convoy arrangements, lifting, negotiated exception or verified nationwide supply collapse was identified during the window. The condition recorded since June holds: the capital is supplied by escorted convoy, the corridor is open in the sense that convoys move and not in the sense that traffic is free, and no party has published figures that would allow the balance to be measured from outside. Recorded as continuity, which is a finding about a blockade in its twelfth month.
Mali — state reach, roads, cities and borders — No verified change in administrative reach or in access to the main urban centres. No attack of a scale comparable to the July convoy ambush or the San garrison assault was identified in this window.
