Ukraine: supplied from 2022 · Poland and the eastern flank: The Polish programme (Homar-A): a first batch contracted in 2019 and delivered from 2023, with a larger framework signed in 2023 that includes launchers to be integrated on Polish chassis. Programme facts only; no holdings or unit assignments. · Estonia and the eastern flank: Contracted in 2022 through Foreign Military Sales; the Estonian Defence Forces announced the arrival of the launchers in 2025. A programme, not a fielded capability, until the ministry says otherwise. · Lithuania and the eastern flank: Contracted in 2022; deliveries announced for 2025 onward. Rôle sur le champ de bataille

Precision deep-strike artillery — publicly credited with forcing Russian logistics back from the front in 2022.

Points forts

Precision at long range; shoot-and-scoot mobility that has made counter-battery kills rare; disproportionate operational effect on depots and headquarters.

Limites

Entirely dependent on US munitions supply and policy; GPS-guided rounds degraded by intensive Russian jamming, forcing continual seeker adaptation.

Identification visuelle

6×6 armoured truck cab with a single large rectangular launch pod on the rear bed; pod elevates as one unit — visually distinct from tracked MLRS with twin pods.

Emploi documenté dans les conflits

In documented Ukrainian use since mid-2022; the 2022 depot and headquarters-strike campaign is its signature documented effect. Employment tracks US munitions policy, including the 2023–24 aid interruption. NATO EASTERN FLANK. The same launcher is the long-range rocket artillery of the Baltic states' and Poland's rearmament: the three Baltic states contracted it in 2022–2023 and Poland in two stages from 2019, all through US Foreign Military Sales. The module records these as programmes with the dates their ministries announced; it records no launcher counts, no munition stocks and no unit assignments, because the same system in an allied inventory is a procurement fact and nothing else. The Taiwan purchase is a separate, per-module record (himars-taiwan).
