- Named by the IDF as the division leading the Khan Younis operation until April 2024 and reported back in Khan Younis from July 2024. It was among the first formations the IDF named in the ground operation in south Lebanon that began on 1 October 2024, which the IDF described as limited, targeted and geographically confined, and it was deployed to south Lebanon again in the 2026 war, an attachment reported in April 2026. The IDF's April 2024 probe programme examined its Gaza manoeuvre with five other divisions.
