Le commandement de haute mer des forces navales roumaines, formé le 1 mai 2006 en succession du commandement opérationnel naval et héritier, selon sa propre page, de la division de mer de 1896. Il commande les formations de combat maritimes de la marine ; ses divizioane subordonnés sont des équivalents de bataillon et se situent sous le plancher structurel de ce module, si bien que seule sa flottille de frégates fait l’objet d’une fiche.

- Historique notable
- The command’s page dates its lineage to the Sea Division created by royal decree in 1896, re-formed as a maritime division in 1962, renamed the Maritime Fleet Command on 1 September 1994, converted into a naval operational command on 1 March 2003 and established as the Fleet Command on 1 May 2006, when it took over the navy’s maritime and river combat units. Its published missions run from planning the employment of naval forces in crisis and war and exercising command and operational control over its own and operationally assigned forces, to surveillance of the maritime and river space, search and rescue, and protection of offshore platforms.
- Points forts
- The one western-shore Black Sea fleet whose organisation and missions the state publishes in full: a command with a stated span — the frigate flotilla and the divizioane — and stated responsibilities that include the management of Romania’s maritime space and cooperation with civil protection and the border police. It is the national maritime organisation through which allied standing naval forces in the Black Sea meet Romania.
