- Wherever the armed forces assign it; the command states its mission as strengthening and developing the armed forces’ special operations capacity with support from the services and with domestic and international partners. Its one published standing area is north-east Greenland, patrolled by the Sirius unit to maintain Danish sovereignty.
- Historique notable
- Denmark drew its Army and Navy special units under one joint command, published today as one of the two joint commands beside the services, and gave that command the Sirius patrol as well — an arrangement that places a sovereignty task in the remotest part of the Kingdom inside the special operations organisation. That is the structural fact this module records; the command’s page gives no founding date and this record supplies none.
