- Historique notable
- The command is one of the six major commands on the ministry’s structure page, and the only one the ministry describes as a dedicated operational command reporting directly to the Chief of the General Staff. The page read was last updated in August 2026 and carries no formation date; the ministry’s cyber command page adds that the joint operations command plans and provides operational command and control for forces within and outside Czech territory, which is the sentence that places the cyber command beneath it.
- Points forts
- A clean separation the ministry states in terms: the land, air, cyber and territorial commands generate and train forces at the tactical level, and this command employs them. It is therefore the Czech body an allied operation would deal with, and the one through which the territorial command is to be commanded in crisis and war on that command’s own account.
- Limites
- The ministry publishes the command’s remit and its staff branches and nothing about what it currently holds, which follows from its nature as a command of assigned forces. The cyber command is the one standing subordinate the ministry names; no other formation is filed beneath it and none is inferred.
