- Historique notable
- The page traces the brigade to a rifle regiment raised on 1 November 1951, moved to its present garrison in 1953, reorganised as a mechanised rifle unit in 1987 and largely dissolved after conscription was suspended in 2004. The defence minister established it in its present form with effect from 1 January 2023, which the page calls an important change in the garrison’s life, and the designation was adjusted again from 1 September 2026.

- A brigade re-established in 2023 as part of the force build-up the defence forces have published command by command since then: it is the formation whose page most clearly dates Hungary’s recent reorganisation. Its purpose — homeland defence, border security and crisis-management participation — is published in the same terms as its sister brigade.
