- The Army publishes the regiment among its eight brigade-level units and describes it as home to the defence forces’ special forces and helicopter operations together with the branches that support them; it gives no founding date, so none is carried. Finland holds its special forces inside an Army regiment rather than in a separate command, which is the structural fact that distinguishes it from the Norwegian and Danish arrangements in this module.
