- Bemerkenswerte Geschichte
- The regiment’s page dates it to 29 November 1971, when an infantry battalion of an army regiment was reorganised as the 307th Marine Infantry Battalion, moved in 1973 to a garrison the page describes as suited to its training, and raised to a regiment on 1 June 2018. It describes its amphibious doctrine and operating environment as giving it a unique character in both the Naval Forces and the Romanian Army, and records that apart from 2004–2015 it has always sat under the river forces’ command.

- A published land component under a naval command on the Danube: the regiment’s missions page lists coastal reconnaissance and surveillance, protection of critical coastal infrastructure including ports and river bases, support to river tactical groups in controlling river sectors, defence against landings in the river-maritime and lagoon zone, blocking of river crossings, and support to the coast guard and to civil authorities — light infantry moved by river craft, assault boats and helicopters, in its own words.
