Die Fregattenflottille Rumäniens, der größte Verband, den die Seestreitkräfte unter dem Flottenkommando veröffentlichen, am 1. - Bemerkenswerte Geschichte
- The flotilla’s page recognises it as the continuator of the destroyer division of the Sea Division from 1920 to 1961: a torpedo-boat-destroyer division created on 15 May 1920, renamed a destroyer group in 1927, a destroyer squadron in 1931 and 1933, organised as a numbered destroyer divizion in 1952, and re-formed as the 56th Frigate Flotilla on 1 May 2006 in the same reorganisation that created the Fleet Command. It received its honorific in 2020.
