- Bemerkenswerte Geschichte
- The army describes it as "a rapidly deployable light infantry combat unit" whose soldiers "move around on foot or in light vehicles, as well as by helicopters", and which, operating together with the Defence Helicopter Command, is called 11 Air Manoeuvre Brigade. Its published employment is peace missions, counter-terrorism and crisis-management operations. The page gives character and readiness terms, not lineage: the brigade's history and its reported integration into the German rapid-forces division are not part of what the service publishes here.
