- By period: northern Gaza in 2023, Rafah, Khan Younis and Gaza City in 2025, and south Lebanon in October 2024 and from 17 March 2026; described at strategic scale only.
- تاريخ بارز
- Named in IDF press releases in northern Gaza in November 2023, committed to the south-Lebanon ground operation in October 2024, and named again in Rafah and Khan Younis from April to May 2025 and entering the Gaza City area in September 2025 under Gideon's Chariots II. In the 2026 war the IDF named it as joining the ground operation in south Lebanon on 17 March 2026. The IDF's April 2024 probe programme examined its Gaza manoeuvre with five other divisions.
- نقاط القوة
- The division the IDF has named on more fronts and in more phases than any other since October 2023 (northern Gaza, Rafah, Gaza City and south Lebanon twice), which makes it the clearest public record of how manoeuvre divisions rotate between the Southern and Northern Commands.
- مواطن القصور
- Its attachment varies by period and no standing parent command is claimed. No strength, order of battle, equipment holdings, positions or current deployment are published or recorded.
